If you are using unix you can uncompress it with tar -zxvf <filename>. If you are running windows you can use <a href="http://www.winzip.com" rel="nofollow">WinZip</a> (this is a commerial program $30 for the standard edition) or a program like <a href="http://websites.cable.ntl.com/~david.campaign/dczip.html" rel="nofollow">dczip</a> which is a free java program to handle zips tarz and others (disclaimer: I have not used dczip).
